Nature is not just a simple view of mountains and seas; it is our home, the source of all our needs. From the clean air we breathe, to the water we drink, to the food served on our table, everything is rooted in the bounty of nature. Therefore, caring for it is not an option, but an obligation and a legacy for the next generation.
However, as civilization advances, we seem to have forgotten its value. The reckless cutting of trees (deforestation), dumping of waste in rivers and seas, and pollution from factories and vehicles are gradually destroying our environment. The result is clear and bitter: severe floods, destructive landslides, and the worsening global warming that causes severe disasters. Every time we destroy nature, we also destroy our own safety.
The solution doesn’t have to be complicated. It starts with simple discipline: proper waste segregation, avoiding single-use plastics, planting trees, and conserving water and electricity.
Caring for nature is equivalent to caring for our lives. It is our responsibility so that the beauty and richness of our Mother Nature will not be just a memory, but for the betterment of the future generations.
